Three Months (and one day!)

I got this bear at the hospital after my 2nd D&C. Its from the "Empty Arms" campaign. I told Travis I would sleep with this bear until I had a baby in my arms, and I did just that. I slept with this bear during TTC, pregnancy, and then when Keyser was born, it was his. It has seen a lot of miles, but has a sort of comfort about it. I am so glad I could do this to show him how much he was wanted.

Who doesnt love this face! So adorable and pitful at the same time :)

Well my boy is 3 months old!! He is amazing me everyday. As far as milestones, he can roll from belly to back (mostly to get out of the dreaded tummy time), he can giggle, smiles all the time, he watches Dora and loves it (yep I let him watch TV, only in about 10 minute increments...sue me!), he drools like its his job and I think he is teething (which may last many many months!), he can pull himself to a sitting position when he holds our hands, and he does baby crunches a lot when he is in his swing (looks like we need to make sure he is strapped in!). I think he will be trying to crawl soon, well maybe like 2 or 3 months from now, because he is always trying to push off with his feet, whether he is on his tummy or trying to stand up.

I cannot believe he is 3 months...time flies when you are having fun, and oh boy, we have lots of fun! Mommy and Daddy love you so much Keyser boy!

Pictures and things I dont want to forget!

Keyser is almost 3 months now and I am not really sure where the time has gone! My sweet little baby is still wonderful and breastfeeds like a champ, but momma still cannot keep up with him so he is getting a little more formula. I am pretty sure he eats about 5 to 6 oz at a time, and he usually gets about 10 oz of formula a day. I am okay with that, as long as he is growing healthy and strong!

My little man has a new development. The Giggle. He is apparently very ticklish under his arm, and when tickled, will release the cutest and most adorable giggle along with almost gasping sounds. I laughed last night until I almost peed my pants, which made him laugh some more! I need to get this on video!!

He continues to surprise me everyday. He has such a sweet personality and is definitely a momma's boy. I love that he can calm himself when I hold him...nothing like that to make a mommy feel wanted :) He is doing better with the babysitter after a few rough days of "where the heck is my momma!" Well, someone woke up...I'm off to get him...enjoy the pictures!

2 months!

I am taking advantage of Keyser's 2 month shots (and sleepiness!) to finally update my blog! Its been a while! :)

Well, my "little" man is 2 months old now and today we got his stats. He is a big 12 lbs 13 oz, and is now 24 inches long! Thats 4 1/2 inches in the 2 months he has been on this earth!! Wow, someone wants to be as tall as daddy is...he's almost 6'5"!

This morning another major milestone happened (at least in my book :) Keyser rolled out of tummy time onto his back! He hates tummy time with a passion and I think he just found his out! LOL Smart little cookie!

Keyser is a very happy baby most days, and he loves, I mean LOVES, to talk! When we read a bedtime story at night, he will just talk and talk the whole time...its really adorable! He is also almost laughing, its kind of a heh laugh, but we are getting there! He loves to be talked to and hates laying down...he has to be upright when awake. He is a nosy boy :)

I went back to work on Monday the 4th and only worked one day. I go back tomorrow and am dreading it, but its actually more boring at work than it is at home! Who would have thought Keyser kept me so busy ;) He only has to see the babysitter 2 times a week and the other 2 days its daddy who watches him. I am pretty sure Grandma will be by a lot too while I'm working on the weekends :)

We had a great Christmas and a very wonderful New Year... I sure hope all of you had one too!
