How far along? 28 weeks 1 day
Total weight gain/loss: 18lbs so far, I need to stop eating so many cheeseburgers :)
Maternity clothes? pretty much every article of clothing
Stretch marks? nothing major and wasn't there before
Sleep: with my never ending carpal tunnel in my hands making them fall asleep, I wake up 20 times a night. I have noticed a decrease in unrination which I never thought could make me happier :)
Best moment this week: sending out baby shower invites, feeling hiccups!
Movement: I drank a mt. dew (gasp, I know!) and he went wild! I am usually too busy with guests at the hotel to feel him a whole lot, but last night, he was a dancing king!
Food cravings: cheeseburgers, peaches, ice cream Drumsticks
Gender: BOY! Handsome and adorable!
Labor Signs: no real ones, but Braxton Hicks have started!
Belly Button: still in, I dont think it will ever pop out!
What I miss: non- numb hands...they are falling asleep as I type this
What I am looking forward to: baby shower in less than 3 weeks! I get to see my sister and niece from Nashville, and I cannot wait!
Weekly Wisdom: Enjoy every moment. As much as I hate to admit it, this pregnancy has flown! Soon he will be a outside baby!
Milestones: I passed my Gestational Diabetes test!!
I am so excited to pass my GD test. Funny, I look at that and see "GD" test as in the other sense of the letters, and it is so true. This test caused me more stress than any college exam of the past! See, my WHOLE entire side of my Dad's family has GD. My sister had it with both of her pregnancies too. The 2nd pregnancy, she was diagnosed at just 12 weeks. I am just like my dad. I am also a lot like my sister. I know its silly to think, but I thought since I had a lot of the same genetics as them, I would get it too. I mean, I am not a skinny minnie. I was for sure I would get a call that said, "Sorry kiddo, you failed, and you failed so bad we don't even think you need to take the 3 hr, don't go past go, go directly to jail." Okay, well maybe not in those words, but you catch my drift :) Well, I had to call THEM, and they finally called me back a agonizing day later saying the 2 best words ever, "You passed!" I was relieved to say the least! Yay!
In other baby news...I got 2 comments last week. Not so good ones. Both of my sweet old maintenance guys at the hotel told me I really look pregnant now. One even asked if I was sure there weren't 2 in there! On the outside, I smiled a sweet smile and politely said nope, just one big boy. On the inside, being pregnant and all, I wanted to ask how many he had in his belly! Does this make me a bad person?
:)
Oh yeah, and we got Little Man's coming home outfit! I know I thought I got one before, but this one I know is it...since he is due a day after Halloween and we always call him Monkey, I found the softest newborn sleeper that doubles as a costume (which of course he would only use in the comfort of the hospital and his own home :) Its a adorable monkey, with a hood with monkey ears and a detachable tail. I about died when I saw it! I was in love!
Whew, I have been rambling...hope you girls (and my husband since I know he reads this :) have a great week!
Overdue updates!

YAY on passing the GD test!! What good news and what a relief. I can't believe how fast time is flying for you too.
I am so glad you passed! My friend Mallorey who is due Nov 5 wasn't so lucky and is pretty stressed. She has to go back for the 3 hr test, I think it is. The coming home outfit sounds absolutely adorable!!
I am so glad things are going so well for you! And I hope to see some pics soon!
XoXo
