I was planning on updating last week, but with finals, work, and a doctors appointment, I decided to wait until now. Mothers day was wonderful and Travis did not disappoint when it came to presents! Now, we are not the type to go out and get expensive things. We very rarely spend money on presents with the exception of Christmas and this holiday was no different. What I did get was a adorable Word document written from Baby and our boys, our Labs. Apparently, according to Travis, Baby really love some Fresh Prince of Bel-Air...and if you know our dogs...this is very true to them :) This may be long, but I wanted to share!
P.S. My husband is the most creative and smart person I know :)
"Baby's version of journey to Mommy's belly"
Now, this is a story all about how
My body is getting flipped-turned upside down
I'd like to take a minute
So don't be a dummy
I'll tell you, mommy, how I became the baby in your tummy.
In Southern Indiana, formed and raised
In daddy's testes is where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin in an environment that was cool
Bouncing around everywhere when daddy shot B-Ball outside of school
When a few thousand sperm
Who were up to some good
Said, Let's break away from this neighborhood
I filled with fright and got a little scared
But I said, "Forget it, I'll go down this tunnel and see what's there!"
I whistled down the tube full of fear
The journey was fresh then it became clear
If anything, this opportunity was rare
So I thought, "I'll go where it takes me, I don't care!"
I arrived at the ovaries around February 7th or 8th
And I yelled to my fellow sperm, "Yo, homies catch you later"
First one to fertilize the egg, I was finally there
To settle my throne in mommy's tummy until i breathe air
Now, to the doggies... :)
Now without any more interruptions, here is the survey.
How far along? 15 weeks one day!
Milestones: My first Mother's (to be) day ever pregnant!
